The Beginnings of Marketing.
Completely refitted for use with natural gas and having modernized facilities, VNG became known all across Europe at the turn of the century: In 2001, the Europe-wide marketing of natural gas storage began – and the VNG's storage facilities became a part of the globalized marketplace.
Today we provide our customers from all across Europe with nearly 3 billion cubic meters of storage volume. From our very beginnings, we have set standards in the marketing of these capacities: thanks to our excellent proximity to major markets we are able to better meet our clients' needs and to develop individualized solutions such as, for instance, the launch of easystore in 2012.
